- Cornstarch 1.0 tbsp
- sesame oil 1.0 tbsp
- ground black pepper 1.0 tsp
- soy sauce 2.0 tbsp
- canola oil 2.0 tbsp
- bell peppers 2.0 pcs
- garlic 4.0 pcs
- brown sugar 1.0 tbsp
- Rice Vinegar 1.0 tbsp
Cooking Instructions
Place the sliced beef steak in a bowl together with the cornstarch, sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and soy sauce. Stir well to coat and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Drizzle with the vegetable oil and add the beef in a single layer.
Cook for 2-3 minutes undisturbed, then flip and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes more. Set aside on a plate.
Add the sliced bell peppers to the same pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the chopped garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Return the beef to the pan and sprinkle everything with the brown sugar.
Add the rice vinegar and a generous sprinkle of freshly cracked pepper.
Add a splash of filtered water and stir everything together for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot, ideally with a side of white rice.
